National Institute of Architecture, Architects Association of Lithuania

In 2027, the National Institute of Architecture will settle into its permanent home – the former Kaunas Central Post Office building. However, we are already beginning our activities in a temporary office on Kęstučio Street: a space that will become a hub for discussions, initiatives, book launches, education, architectural discoveries, and meetings.

The first one is the Architects Association of Lithuania, which is organising the Lithuanian National Pavilion at the 19th International Architecture Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia. Before the delegation departs, we invite you to a farewell event, during which we will learn more about how Lithuania will present itself at one of the world’s most important architectural art events.

During the event, Kęstutis Kuizinas, Head of the National Institute of Architecture (NAI), will give an opening address about the institute's activities and the process of its establishment. The concept and realisation of the Lithuanian National Pavilion will be discussed by the project’s author, architect and Chairman of the Architects Association of Lithuania, Gintaras Balčytis, the pavilion’s commissioner, Dr. Jūratė Tutlytė, and the creative team..
